Ninjas in Pyjamas<\/strong> have completed their roster overhaul centered around Danish in-game leader Marco ‘Snappi’ <\/strong>Pfeiffer, with the unexpected inclusion of Audric ‘JACKZ’ <\/strong>Jug as a temporary stand-in to allow them to accept Wildcard invitations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 34-year-old known as ‘Snappi’ <\/strong>guided ENCE <\/strong>to the number two position in the world rankings in 2023, and what NIP <\/strong>described as a “demonstrated history of developing young talent” will be valuable with a skilled yet novice roster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The long-term aim is for Rasmus \u2018sjuush\u2019 <\/strong>Beck to become the cornerstone of the team as he rejoins former HEROIC <\/strong>coach Richard \u2018Xizt\u2019 <\/strong>Landstr\u00f6m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Swedish team has finalized their lineup by adding IEM Cologne<\/strong> semi-finalists<\/strong> Michel ‘ewjerkz’ <\/strong>Pinto and Rafael ‘arrozdoce’ <\/strong>Wing from SAW<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The introduction of Snappi <\/strong>will result in the sidelining of in-game leader and Young Ninjas <\/strong>alum Gareth \u2018MisteM\u2019 <\/strong>Ries, whom Esports Director Erik Wendel stated on January 3 was the “future” of NIP<\/strong>, leaving the possibility of a future comeback open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New residences have, in fact, been secured for Isak ‘isak’ <\/strong>Fahl\u00e9n and Fredrik ‘REZ’ <\/strong>Sterner, with Metizport <\/strong>and GamerLegion<\/strong>, respectively, being their new teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
