CCT<\/strong> has announced the invitations for CCT Season 2 Europe Series 18<\/strong>. Sixteen teams will compete in the Closed Qualifier<\/strong>, twelve will advance to the group stage, and eight will be directly invited to the playoffs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition started on February 4<\/strong> and will adhere to the standard structure of a CCT<\/strong> tournament. The 16 teams<\/strong> in the Closed Qualifier<\/strong> will compete for one of the four spots available in the group stage, where 16 teams<\/strong> will contend in a Swiss-system BO3 format, with the top eight advancing to the playoffs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They will participate with the teams selected for the playoffs<\/strong> in a single-elimination best-of-three bracket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CCT <\/strong>has also stated that the invitations were redone on Monday after an incorrect version of the VRS <\/strong>was utilized, with the updated invites now reflecting the accurate list from January 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monte<\/strong>, fnatic<\/strong>, and Sashi <\/strong>have received invitations to the group stage<\/strong>, while the newly formed roster of BC.Game <\/strong>has also gained entry into the second stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passion UA<\/strong>, B8<\/strong>, and ENCE <\/strong>are among the top-ranked teams in the VRS <\/strong>and will consequently begin the tournament in the single-elimination playoffs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Closed Qualifier<\/strong> includes several notable teams, specifically OG<\/strong>, Aurora<\/strong>, and Ninjas in Pyjamas<\/strong>, the latter of which has once again earned a Wildcard invitation by featuring Audric ‘JACKZ\u2060’ <\/strong>Jug.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
