Before these items were <strong>dropped from the jungle camps<\/strong>, so you had to <strong>kill creeps<\/strong> to get them. This is no longer the case, however, because there is a <strong>completely new system<\/strong> now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nowadays, the Neutral Items have two main components:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Artifacts<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Enchantments<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Artifacts are the things that will give you the <strong>ability of the given item<\/strong>, and they can be <strong>passive or active<\/strong>. As for the <strong>Enchantment<\/strong>, they will provide you with <strong>passive attributes or stat upgrades<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to craft Neutral Items in Dota 2, you will also need to get a <strong>new resource called Madstone<\/strong>. The latter is obtainable by clearing jungle camps, and each champ will grant <strong>2 Madstones<\/strong> to the hero that cleaned it. Furthermore, someone from the team will receive 1 Madstone randomly. Once you have <strong>enough<\/strong> Madstones, you can <strong>craft an Artifact<\/strong>, and you can add the Enchantment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Madstone, item mechanic, patch 7.38 Dota 2\" width=\"788\" height=\"443\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-pSflPiOcDc?start=1&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, Valve decided to add a limit to the number of Madstones you can have. Here is how it works:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Up to <strong>5 Madstones<\/strong> for killing neutral creeps from minute <strong>5 onwards<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Up to <strong>15 Madstones<\/strong> for killing neutral creeps from minute <strong>15 onwards<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Up to <strong>25 Madstones<\/strong> for killing neutral creeps from minute<strong> 25 onwards<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Up to <strong>35 Madstones<\/strong> for killing neutral creeps from minute<strong> 15 onwards<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Up to <strong>45 Madstones <\/strong>for killing neutral creeps from minute<strong> 60 onwards<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>No Madstone<\/strong> <strong>cap<\/strong> after<strong> 70 minutes<\/strong> of play<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After collecting the Madstones, you will need to <strong>choose the Artifact <\/strong>you want and try to craft the item. There\u2019s no arguing that the crafting process for the Dota 2 7.38 neutral items is more difficult, but it makes the game a <strong>lot more interesting<\/strong>. You can find the <strong>complete list<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dota2.com\/wanderingwaters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>, but we also want to include some of the more intriguing variations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Artifacts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some of the artifacts that you will find:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Unrelenting Eye<\/strong> &#8211; A Tier 5 Neutral Artifact that provides 100% slow resistance. The bonus is down by 20% for every enemy hero that\u2019s within 300 units.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Stygian Desolator<\/strong> &#8211; A Tier 5 item that allows your attacks to reduce the target\u2019s armor by 13 for 7s.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pirate Hat <\/strong>&#8211; Another T5 item that will give you Lesser Avatar when activated. This will apply a basic dispel and grant you 50% magic resistance and immunity to pure and reflected damage for 2s. The negative effect from the enemy\u2019s spells will have no effect. This ability costs no mana and has a 40s cooldown.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enchantments<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>What\u2019s different about Enchantments when compared to the Artifacts is that <strong>some of them can work for different Tiers<\/strong>. For example, <strong>Alert, Brawny, Mystical,<\/strong> and several others are available in <strong>Tiers 1-4<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With that said, you can also find enchantments that are only available for Tier 5:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Boundless<\/strong> &#8211; 150 range (for both melee and ranged) and +350 Cast Range<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Evolved <\/strong>&#8211; +40 Primary Stat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Feverish <\/strong>&#8211; 15% cooldown reduction and +10% Mana Cost\/Mana Loss Increase<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wise<\/strong> &#8211; +600 Experience per Minute<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Audacious <\/strong>&#8211; +100 Attack Speed, +80 Magic Attack Damage, +10% Incoming Damage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fleetfooted <\/strong>&#8211; +115 Movement Speed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We can\u2019t wait to see some of the most interesting Dota 2 Neutral Item combinations in Patch 7.38. <a href=\"http:\/\/blix.gg\">Blix.gg<\/a>\u2019s Dota 2 team will keep playing on the new patch and provide you with more details about some of the best combos.
