RED Canids<\/strong> has revealed the addition of Andr\u00e9 ‘\u2060drop\u2060’ <\/strong>Abreu, who will succeed Marcelo ‘nyezin\u2060’ <\/strong>Ramos and assume the captaincy of the team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The outgoing player, ‘nyezin’<\/strong>, will have his loan contract ended and will return to paiN<\/strong>. ‘Drop’ <\/strong>comes on board after establishing himself as an anchor for FURIA <\/strong>from 2021 to 2023, and later spending most of the last two years with MIBR<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 21-year-old gained experience as an in-game leader during the latter part of his tenure with MIBR<\/strong>, leading the team to a top-four placement at EPL Season 20<\/strong> shortly after assuming leadership. He also assisted the squad in reaching the Elimination Stage<\/strong> of the Perfect World Shanghai Major<\/strong>, where they fell just short of securing a playoff spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In general, MIBR <\/strong>struggled to improve after drop took over as the in-game leader, especially in international tournaments where they frequently encountered early eliminations. After a frustrating beginning to 2025, during which MIBR <\/strong>was knocked out early from BLAST Bounty<\/strong>, IEM Katowice Stage 1<\/strong>, and PGL Cluj-Napoca<\/strong>, drop asked to be placed on the bench.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
