Casper ‘cadiaN\u2060’ <\/strong>M\u00f8ller has been placed on the bench by Astralis <\/strong>and will be substituted by Rasmus ‘HooXi\u2060’ <\/strong>Nielsen as a stand-in for PGL Astana<\/strong>, alongside the announcement of Sports Director Kasper Straube’s departure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The actions follow Astralis’s <\/strong>failure to qualify for their fifth consecutive Major, as they were ousted by B8 <\/strong>in the sixth-place decider match at the European MRQ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘CadiaN’ <\/strong>made a surprising move to join Astralis as a rifling in-game leader, but the experiment did not succeed, as his inclusion did not improve the team\u2019s performance except for two promising runs at the BLAST World Final<\/strong> and PGL Cluj-Napoca<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dane also had difficulties making a personal impact after relinquishing his AWP. He maintained an average rating of 0.86 <\/strong>throughout his time with Astralis and did not achieve a single event rating exceeding 1.00<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His successor ‘HooXi’ <\/strong>comes to the team after an extended hiatus. The Danish player was sidelined by G2 <\/strong>in July 2024 and hasn’t participated in an HLTV-standard match since then. The 29-year-old is set to make his first appearance for Astralis <\/strong>as a stand-in at PGL Astana<\/strong>, which begins on May 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
