This decision comes in stark contrast to <strong>PGL&#8217;s <\/strong>choice to forgo open qualifiers, which <strong>PGL <\/strong>attributed to a &#8220;very busy event schedule.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Masters<\/strong> and <strong>Championship <\/strong>events will coincide with the two <strong>StarLadder <\/strong>competitions in 2025, creating a scheduling conflict.<strong> The Souvenir <\/strong>will clash with <strong>PGL on FiRe Buenos Aires<\/strong>, while the <strong>World Tour <\/strong>will be held at the same time as <strong>BLAST Rivals Season 2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The<strong> Skyesports Souvenir<\/strong> tournament will feature two stages: the closed qualifier and the main event. In the closed qualifier, eight teams will battle it out for the remaining four spots in India, while the top four teams from <strong>Valve&#8217;s Regional Standings <\/strong>will secure direct entry into the main tournament.<\/p>\n<p>For tier-one events, <strong>256 teams<\/strong> will compete in open qualifiers. The top <strong>16 teams<\/strong> from <strong>Valve&#8217;s Regional Standings <\/strong>will receive direct invitations. The top four teams from the closed qualifiers will advance to the LAN stage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skyesports <\/strong>tier-one events will follow a comprehensive two-stage format. The tournament will kick off with a single round-robin, best-of-three stage involving all eight participating teams.
