In 2025, Skyesports <\/strong>has exciting plans to hold four prestigious CS2<\/strong> tournaments. These will include three top-tier events and boast a total prize pool of $1.75 million<\/strong>. The thrilling competitions will take place on LAN in India at as-yet-undisclosed venues.<\/p>\n

The Indian company has joined the ranks of tournament organizers who have revealed their intentions for 2025 with this announcement.<\/p>\n

Skyesports <\/strong>has decided to hold open qualifiers for all tier-one events in Europe, the Americas, India, and the Rest of Asia<\/strong>. This decision comes in stark contrast to PGL’s <\/strong>choice to forgo open qualifiers, which PGL <\/strong>attributed to a “very busy event schedule.”<\/p>\n

The Masters<\/strong> and Championship <\/strong>events will coincide with the two StarLadder <\/strong>competitions in 2025, creating a scheduling conflict. The Souvenir <\/strong>will clash with PGL on FiRe Buenos Aires<\/strong>, while the World Tour <\/strong>will be held at the same time as BLAST Rivals Season 2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Skyesports Souvenir<\/strong> tournament will feature two stages: the closed qualifier and the main event. In the closed qualifier, eight teams will battle it out for the remaining four spots in India, while the top four teams from Valve’s Regional Standings <\/strong>will secure direct entry into the main tournament.<\/p>\n

For tier-one events, 256 teams<\/strong> will compete in open qualifiers. The top 16 teams<\/strong> from Valve’s Regional Standings <\/strong>will receive direct invitations. The top four teams from the closed qualifiers will advance to the LAN stage.<\/p>\n

Skyesports <\/strong>tier-one events will follow a comprehensive two-stage format. The tournament will kick off with a single round-robin, best-of-three stage involving all eight participating teams. Following this stage, the top four teams will then progress to the single-elimination playoffs, leading up to an exciting best-of-five final showdown.<\/p>\n

Skyesports <\/strong>2025 event roadmap marks a big step forward for the Indian company, following technical issues on the opening day of an international CS <\/strong>tournament in Mumbai<\/strong>. BetBoom <\/strong>withdrew, citing concerns about fairness and unmet conditions.<\/p>\n

After Skyesports <\/strong>promptly resolved those issues, the tournament continued without any further disruptions, as confirmed by several players who participated in the event.<\/p>\n
