Furthermore, the organizer plans to expand to<strong> S\u00c3\u00a3o Paulo<\/strong> and <strong>Barcelona<\/strong> by 2026.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PGL <\/strong>has promised &#8220;other surprises&#8221; alongside its initial <strong>11 events<\/strong>. Although the operator hasn&#8217;t hosted standalone events recently due to calendar restrictions, it has organized three <strong>Valve Majors<\/strong> (<strong>Stockholm<\/strong>, <strong>Antwerp<\/strong>, and <strong>Copenhagen<\/strong>) and is partnering with <strong>Perfect World <\/strong>for the <strong>CS Asia Championships<\/strong>, with plans for a fourth <strong>Major <\/strong>in <strong>Shanghai <\/strong>this <strong>November<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PGL <\/strong>will be organizing six events independently, as well as collaborating with <strong>FiReSPORTS <\/strong>for four events and continuing their partnership with <strong>Perfect World<\/strong> for <strong>CS Asia Championships 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament will host 16 teams and boast a prize pool of<strong> $1.25 million<\/strong>. Additionally, a hospitality budget of<strong> $450,000<\/strong> will cover tickets, accommodation for 8 people, meals, and six-person practice rooms for each of the invited teams.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the &#8220;very busy event schedule,&#8221; invitations for the events will be distributed directly based on the global <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/ValveSoftware\/counter-strike_regional_standings\/tree\/main\/live\/2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Valve Regional Standings (VRS)<\/strong><\/a>, and no open qualifiers will be held.<\/p>\n<p>In the event that a roster declines the invitation, or is unable to secure visas within the specified timeframe, the invitation will then be offered to the next roster in the <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/ValveSoftware\/counter-strike_regional_standings\/tree\/main\/live\/2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>VRS<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>until all available slots are filled.<\/p>\n<p>The global invitation system will make an exception for the three South American events. In these events, the top two teams from the South American region will receive invitations, along with 14 teams from other continents.<\/p>\n<p>The events will feature a group stage using a best-of-three Swiss system, followed by an eight-team single-elimination playoff. The grand final will be a best-of-five series.<\/p>\n<h2>PGL Official Announcement<\/h2>\n<div class=\"_1VPbNXp6UZ1K-ChQg-UhsA==\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>PGL <\/strong>has released the locations for their inaugural eight events, but they have not yet unveiled the locations for the <strong>S\u00c3\u00a3o Paulo<\/strong> and <strong>Barcelona <\/strong>events scheduled for 2026.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, they will be performing at the <strong>Teatro Gran Rex<\/strong> in<strong> Buenos Aires<\/strong>, which has a seating <strong>capacity of 3300<\/strong>. The following year, in 2026, they are set to move to the larger <strong>Estadio Mary Ter\u00c3\u00a1n de Weiss<\/strong>, which has a substantial <strong>capacity of 15,510<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>Astana<\/strong>, there is the <strong>11,578-seaterBarys Arena<\/strong>, while the <strong>20,000-seater Belgrade Arena <\/strong>hosts the two Serbian events.
