In a remarkable display of skill, 17-year-old Alex ‘poiii’ <\/strong>Nyholm Sundgren has set a new kill record in Counter-Strike 2<\/strong>. He achieved an impressive 39 kills in EYEBALLERS’ 13-11<\/strong> victory on Anubis against Zero Tenacity <\/strong>in CCT Season 2 Europe Series 11<\/strong>, surpassing the previous record set by Danil ‘donk’ <\/strong>Kryshkovets.<\/p>\n

‘poiii’<\/strong> was described by Jesper ‘JW\u00e2\u0081\u00a0‘ <\/strong>Wecksell as “Sweden’s next superstar” when he joined EYEBALLERS <\/strong>in July. However, he has not quite fulfilled that expectation, as he has only achieved an average rating of 1.01<\/strong> over 98 maps<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the Anubis map, ‘poiii’ <\/strong>showcased some of his potential with an impressive 23-7 K-D score<\/strong> while playing on the CT side against Zero Tenacity<\/strong>. Despite his individual performance, his team struggled, and they ended up with a 5-7 score<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In an impressive display of skill, the Swede was on pace to surpass the existing 38-kill record <\/strong>as he secured 12 kills<\/strong> in the initial six rounds of the second half, amassing a remarkable 35-9 kill-death ratio <\/strong>at 10-8. However, his momentum waned as Zero Tenacity <\/strong>mounted a comeback, and it was only in round 24 that he surpassed donk’s record, concluding the game with an outstanding 39-15 score<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The player known as ‘donk’ <\/strong>currently holds the LAN record for most kills with an impressive 38<\/strong>, while Lucas ‘Lucaozy’ <\/strong>Neves and Mason ‘Lake’ <\/strong>Sanderson are tied for the next highest online with 37 kills<\/strong> each.<\/p>\n
