The new patch comes with tons of hero changes and just two item updates. There are several interesting changes that we need to address, so let\u2019s begin:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Broodmother<\/strong> &#8211; The hero received <strong>several important nerfs<\/strong>. For starters, she can have up to 3\/5\/7\/9 webs instead of 4\/6\/8\/10. Her Incapacitating bite no longer works on illusions and Necrotic Webs now decreases the HP regen by up to 55% (it used to be 70% before). Other than that, Brood\u2019s level 15 and 25 talents also received a small nerf.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clinkz<\/strong> &#8211; We can\u2019t say <strong>we were surprised by these nerfs<\/strong> because, as we said in our <a href=\"https:\/\/blix.gg\/blog\/news\/dota-2\/clinkz-is-breaking-the-meta-in-dota-2-patch-7-40b\/\">Dota 2 Clinkz guide<\/a>, he is one of the best carries right now. In terms of changers, his Skeleton Walk\u2019s building damage is up from 25% to 75%. Moreover, Aghanim\u2019s Scepter will only provide Burning Army the ability to increase the Skeleton Archer hits to kill by 1. His level 15 and 20 talents also got a small nerf.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lone Druid<\/strong> &#8211; Unlike the first two heroes, <strong>this one got a buff<\/strong>. Savare Roar now lasts more during levels 1-3 and his Level 25 talent increases slow resistance by 70%. As for \u201cReturn\u201d, the ability can get interrupted by roots and lashes.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Terrorblade<\/strong> &#8211; TB <strong>got a few buffs<\/strong> that we think will make him a solid pick. His Conjure Image now costs less mana on all 4 levels. Sunder has less cooldown on levels 1 and 2, and Demon Zeal no longer affects Reflection illusions. Lastly, the hero\u2019s level 15 talent gives +15% slow and damage to Reflection instead of +10%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/twitter.com\/wykrhm\/status\/2014149674152702171?s=20\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>These are just a handful of the Patch 7.40c changes that you should know. Even though none of the heroes received major buffs or nerfs, we <strong>expect the meta to tilt a little bit.<\/strong> Keep in mind, we are just days before <a href=\"https:\/\/blix.gg\/blog\/news\/dota-2\/blast-slam-vi-malta-and-fissure-universe-episode-8-teams-revealed\/\">BLAST Slam VI: Malta and FISSURE Universe: Episode 8<\/a>, so it will be interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also want to point out that <a href=\"https:\/\/blix.gg\/blog\/news\/dota-2\/largo-dota-2-hero-guide\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/blix.gg\/blog\/news\/dota-2\/largo-dota-2-hero-guide\/\">Largo, the latest Dota 2 hero<\/a>, is now available in Captain&#8217;s Mode.
