GRID Esports<\/strong> has just announced that the Thunderpick World Championship 2024<\/strong> LAN portion will be held in Berlin.The event is scheduled for November 2-3, showcasing a substantial $850,000 <\/strong>prize pool.<\/p>\n

In the first stage, 16 teams<\/strong> will compete online from October 21-26<\/strong>. The teams will face off in a single-elimination format with best-of-three matches to determine the four teams that will advance to the LAN finals. The LAN finals will also follow the same format, including a match to decide the third-place team.<\/p>\n

So far, six squads have secured their spots in the Thunderpick World Championship 2024<\/strong>. These teams include Cloud9 <\/strong>and BLEED <\/strong>from Europe’s qualifiers, Legacy <\/strong>and M80 <\/strong>from North America’s qualifiers, and BESTIA <\/strong>and Imperial from South America’s qualifiers. Ten more invited teams will join them, the first four of which are Falcons<\/strong>, HEROIC<\/strong>, Fnatic<\/strong>, and BIG<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Thunderpick World Championship<\/strong> is set to have its second edition in 2024. Last year, FaZe <\/strong>fought through the online tournament to emerge as the champions, clinching the coveted title and the top prize of $250,000<\/strong>. This year, the prize pool has been doubled, with a staggering $500,000<\/strong> reserved for the ultimate winner.<\/p>\n
