The squad was among the favorites but failed to secure a top-2 placement.

Speaking of favorites, Team Falcons surprised me in a negative way. Even though the team saved itself from elimination, it lost a lot more series than we thought. It will be interesting to see whether it steps up its game in the next stage of the event.

Two teams surprised us a lot with their results – OG and Natus Vincere. Both finished the BLAST Slam VI Group Stage with 7 wins and 4 losses and shared the first two spots. It’s been a while since we’ve seen them among the best (in the case of Na’Vi – a full eternity), so we can’t wait to see what they’ll do in the future.

Sadly, some Dota 2 teams did not live up to their fans’ expectations and will have to play in the Last Chance Playoffs. MOUZ is probably the biggest disappointment, especially after winning PGL Wallachia Season 6 just a few months ago. As for REKONIX, most Dota 2 fans were not surprised they ended here because this was the team’s first big event. Aside from these two, GamerLegion and HEROIC were the other two that failed to impress with their results.

BLAST Slam VI – Play-In Schedule

First look at this week-end's bracket: pic.twitter.com/stZtcK5Xhv
— BLAST Slam (@BLASTDota) February 5, 2026

Now that the group stage is over, we have some details about the upcoming Play-In matches.
