Following the downfall of Natus Vincere and Fnatic after The International 2024, Secret emerged from the ashes. The team consisted of some of the best players at the time, including Kuro Selehi “KuroKy” Takhsomi and many others.

What made Team Secret different was that it had no major corporate backing. Instead, it was run by the players themselves, mainly Clement “Puppey” Ivanov. He and Kuro played for a while, but their path separated shortly after because it became clear that they could not play together. During that time, Secret also had the likes of S4, n0tail, and Fly.

In the years after that, Team Secret changed its roster several times and tried playing with all kinds of players, a long decline that eventually led to the organization leaving professional Dota 2 in 2026. TI5 was an interesting time for the team because it had the likes of Artour “Arteezy” Babaev and Ludwig “zai” Wahlberg. The addition of these two players meant that s4 had to leave, and Kuro had to move to position 4. It seems like this did not work well because Kuro decided to leave, and Puppey was left on his own to run the team.

Why Team Secret Never Won The International

SECRET vs TUNDRA – TI11 GRAND FINAL – THE INTERNATIONAL 2022 DOTA 2

Despite having some of the best Dota 2 rosters over the years, Team Secret never won The International. The team managed to secure countless big events over the years, but it never lifted the Aegis.

Fans may remember that Team Secret got close to achieving that during The International 11. During that time, the squad had the likes Michal “Nisha” Jankowski and Roman “Resol1tion” Fominok and looked almost unstoppable.
