The latter will host the BLAST Slam VI Playoffs, which <strong>start on February 13<\/strong>. With that said, let\u2019s see what happened after the first clashes following the <a href=\"https:\/\/blix.gg\/blog\/news\/dota-2\/blast-slam-vi-group-stage-roundup-playoffs-overview\/\">BLAST Slam VI Group Stage<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>REKONIX and MOUZ Are Out of BLAST Slam VI<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"LAST CHANCE! GAMERLEGION vs MOUZ &#8211; Official Highlights &#8211; BLAST Slam VI Dota 2<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>REKONIX<\/strong> is <strong>officially out of BLAST Slam VI<\/strong> after the team lost its match in the Last Chance Playoff. The new Dota 2 team <strong>had to play against HEROIC<\/strong> after the South American team had won the epic match. It was not easy because both games were close for an hour, but in the end, HEROIC survived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sadly, <strong>MOUZ became the second team<\/strong> to leave BLAST Slam VI. After the disappointing results in the Group Stage, the team was unable to defeat GamerLegion. Most people expected the <strong>North Americans to lose the game<\/strong>, but the team impressed everyone with its performance. Game three was especially interesting because GL was clearly on another level compared to MOUZ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Yandex, Team Falcons, HEROIC, and Team Liquid Advanced to the Playoffs<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Our last GOATs to join us in Malta next week<br><br>WELCOME <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/teamliquiddota?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@teamliquiddota<\/a> \ud83c\uddf2\ud83c\uddf9 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/0pzMEgM3Ex\">pic.twitter.com\/0pzMEgM3Ex<\/a><\/p>&mdash; BLAST SLAM (@BLASTDota) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BLASTDota\/status\/2020572152441802821?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 8, 2026<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After the end of the Last Chance Playoffs, we had the<strong> chance to watch 4 epic matches <\/strong>in the Play-In stage. Starting with <strong>Team Yandex vs Team Spirit<\/strong>, this was the classic CIS derby that ended in Yandex\u2019s favor. It was definitely not a result we expected, but team <strong>Yandex proved everyone wrong<\/strong> and will continue to impress us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second clash was between Team Falcons and Xtreme Gaming. Although most people <strong>expected XG to perform better<\/strong>, the squad failed to bring down Team Falcoms. The latter remains one of the favorites and we can\u2019t wait to see them in Malta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After defeating REKONIX, <strong>HEROIC had another challenge in the face of the big favorite<\/strong>, Tundra Esports. No one saw this coming, but the <strong>South Americans were on another level<\/strong> and secured a clean victory. This was the <strong>first big upset for Tundra in a while<\/strong> and it proved they need to step up their game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lastly, we had <strong>Team Liquid vs GamerLegion<\/strong>, a clash where the favorite actually lived up to the expectations.
