This tournament gives teams another chance to move up the European rankings through offline play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tournament, called <strong>LORGAR RANKINGS<\/strong>, will run from April 25 to 26 and include eight teams competing for a <strong>$50,000<\/strong> prize pool. The other four spots will go to teams that qualify in March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Regional Open Qualifiers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The first stage will take place from March 12 to 15 on <a href=\"http:\/\/faceit.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>FACEIT <\/strong><\/a>and will mainly focus on teams from Eastern and Southern Europe. Smaller LAN tournaments are now more important for teams outside the top level, giving them valuable experience, ranking points, and exposure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.starladder.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>StarLadder\u2019s <\/strong><\/a>system, which links invites to rankings and keeps open qualifiers, follows a wider move toward merit-based tournaments.
