The news came in on Sunday, March 1 and it marks the end of a three-year journey with the organization that started in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SumaiL Leaves Nigma Galaxy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">After being with the team for just over 2 years, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NigmaGalaxy?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@NigmaGalaxy<\/a> have announced the release of The King: <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SumaaaaiL?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@SumaaaaiL<\/a>&#8230; \ud83d\udc51 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/YFlIC7DMKl\">pic.twitter.com\/YFlIC7DMKl<\/a><\/p>&mdash; ESL Dota2 (@ESLDota2) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ESLDota2\/status\/2028304346056728598?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">March 2, 2026<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After becoming a part of Nigma in 2022, <a href=\"https:\/\/blix.gg\/blog\/news\/dota-2\/sumail-i-always-had-a-huge-following-in-china-it-was-in-a-way-a-homish-feeling-to-go-there\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/blix.gg\/blog\/news\/dota-2\/sumail-i-always-had-a-huge-following-in-china-it-was-in-a-way-a-homish-feeling-to-go-there\/\">SumaiL <\/a>played on the team\u2019s active roster for a year. He did well, but the squad eventually loaned him to <strong>Team Aster<\/strong>, where he played from May to November 2023. Following a series of unsuccessful results, SumaiL eventually returned to NGX in December of 2023 and played for the team until yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2025 was probably the best year for <strong>Nigma Galaxy<\/strong> after a series of bad results before that. Alongside Daniel Chan \u201cGhost\u201d Kok Hong, Nigma produced solid placings after securing a top 5 at <strong>BLAST Slam II<\/strong>. The team also was among the best at <strong>ESL One Raleigh 2026<\/strong> and <strong>DreamLeague Season 26<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the team even qualified for <strong>The International 2026<\/strong> (it was their first TI). Not only did the team get to the tournament, but it also did well and finished in 5th-6th place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sadly, Nigma had to make two crucial roster changes after GH announced he\u2019ll take a break. NGX added Tobi to the roster and then Ghost left the team for TA2000. These two roster changes did not work out because <strong>Nigma Galaxy<\/strong> produced a series of disappointing results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shortly after the changes, Tobi left for GH and NGX also<strong> parted ways with TA2000<\/strong>. The team used Denys \u201crincq\u201d Boshushev as their stand-in, but failed to achieve any big results and did not qualify for any tournament. This is one of the reasons why <strong>SumaiL<\/strong> left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nigma Galaxy\u2019s Future<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that <strong>SumaiL<\/strong> is gone, <strong>Nigma Galaxy<\/strong> has just three players left &#8211; No!ob, OmaR and GH. Unless the team makes big changes, No!ob should take the mid-lane from <strong>SumaiL<\/strong>, so we expect to see a new offlaner and a potential carry player.
