As a result, the tournament\u2019s organizers invited <strong>Ninjas in Pajamas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NiP to Take Aurora&#8217;s Place at CS Asia Championship 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As it became clear from<a href=\"https:\/\/www.csgo.com.cn\/article\/details\/20260427\/225895.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Perfect World\u2019s announcement<\/a>, Ninjas in Pajamas will be stepping in to replace the Turkish CS2 powerhouse. NiP received an invitation due to its current position on the February Valve Regional Standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no arguing that the surprising invite is a <strong>blessing for the newly formed Danish squad<\/strong>. Before it became clear that NiP would take Aurora\u2019s spot, the team was only going to take part in the<strong> Stake Ranked Episode 2<\/strong> before the season came to an end. The current situation gives NiP an additional opportunity to <strong>test its luck<\/strong> against some of the best CS2 teams in the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team would have played in various smaller events, which would <strong>place it even lower<\/strong> in the rankings, since the others would have more tournaments on their schedule.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CS Asia Championship 2026 Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes down to the CS Asia Championship, we will see some of the <strong>world\u2019s best CS2 teams<\/strong> competing for a <strong>$1M reward<\/strong>. The event will take place <strong>from May 20 to 24<\/strong> in Shanghai, China.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those of you wishing to watch the games will see <strong>a total of 16 teams<\/strong>. They will be divided into two big groups of <strong>8 teams<\/strong>, where the winners, runners-up and the<strong> 3rd-placed teams<\/strong> will advance to the Playoffs.
