The team <strong>did not have to compete in the Group Stage<\/strong> because it had a reserve slot for the Playoffs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>first challenge<\/strong> ahead of the NA powerhouse was<strong> IC Esports,<\/strong> and the match was definitely more interesting than many people expected. In fact,<strong> IC even won Dust 2,<\/strong> so Wildcard had to step up their game. Fortunately, the team had no issues in the next two maps and eliminated their opponents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the success, the A<strong>merican squad had to face Acend.<\/strong> This match was also close, but in the end, <strong>Wildcard won Inferno and Dust 2<\/strong> and advanced to the tournament\u2019s Upper Bracket Final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking of the devil, Wildcard had to play against <strong>FOKUS here.<\/strong> Most CS2 fans expected this match to be very close and see three full maps, but this never happened. Wildcard was a<strong> step above its opponent <\/strong>and ripped through FOCUS in game 1. The second map (Dust 2) was more intense, but Wildcard ultimately secured the victory.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lastly, we have the<strong> Grand Final<\/strong>, which was a replay of the UB Final. After the loss,<strong> FOKUS met with IC Esports<\/strong> and won the map, allowing it to secure a Grand Final spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The clash started with a victory for Wildcard at Inferno, but <strong>FOKUS quickly bounced back in the series<\/strong> after winning Dust II.
