After a competitive battle, paiN Esports<\/strong> clinched a triumphant victory in the IEM Rio South American Closed Qualifier<\/strong>, solidifying their position at the upcoming tournament set to take place from October 7<\/strong> to October 13<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Rodrigo ‘biguzera’ <\/strong>Bittencourt’s team started their qualifying campaign with a hard-fought victory against Marcelo ‘coldzera’ <\/strong>David’s RED Canids<\/strong>. This win earned them a spot in the semifinals against Imperial<\/strong>. The match was very close and ended in overtime on the Inferno decider, but paiN<\/strong>managed to defeat Santino ‘try’ <\/strong>Rigal and his team.<\/p>\n

Imperial <\/strong>defeated MIBR <\/strong>in the lower bracket to earn a rematch against paiN<\/strong>, but paiN <\/strong>won comfortably in the final with a 2-0<\/strong> victory. The game started onInferno<\/strong>, where paiN <\/strong>secured a 13-8<\/strong> victory, and then continued their strong performance onAnubis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
