ATOX <\/strong>has officially finalized the signing of Yalalt ‘yAmi’ <\/strong>Oyunbileg, as announced by the Mongolian organization on Monday. Aged 19, Oyunbileg will step in to fill the void left by the benching of Munkhsaikhan ‘Zesta’ <\/strong>Erdenebaatar earlier this month.<\/p>\n

‘yAmi’ <\/strong>is a well-known player who has a history with ATOX<\/strong>. He was part of the team from July to November 2023 before being benched and later transferred to The Huns<\/strong>. During his time with The Huns<\/strong>, he demonstrated an outstanding performance, maintaining an impressive 1.21 rating<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

ATOX<\/strong> has become one of the top teams in Asia, entering the top 50<\/strong> rankings after finishing second in the ESL Challenger League Season 47 Asia-Pacific<\/strong>. This secured them a place in the next season of the ESL Pro League<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Mongolian team is set to compete in Group D<\/strong> alongside Vitality<\/strong>, Liquid<\/strong>, Virtus.pro<\/strong>, Falcons<\/strong>, FURIA<\/strong>, ENCE<\/strong>, and RED Canids<\/strong>. Of particular note, it marks the first occasion for ATOX <\/strong>to participate in LAN events outside their regional territory.<\/p>\n

The upcoming Asian closed qualifier for IEM Rio <\/strong>will be the debut event for the new ATOX <\/strong>roster. Taking place on August 1-2, the tournament will feature four teams battling it out in a double-elimination bracket, vying for a chance to secure a spot at the prestigious Brazilian event.<\/p>\n
