Cloud9 <\/strong>officially announced their newest roster for CS2<\/strong>. The team is pleased to welcome Nikita ‘HeavyGod’ <\/strong>Martynenko, Kaisar ‘ICY’ <\/strong>Faiznurov, and Timofey ‘interz’ <\/strong>Yakushin to their lineup.<\/p>\n

The recent additions to the team are the outcome of a collaborative endeavor led by head coach Konstantin ‘groove\u00e2\u0081\u00a0‘ <\/strong>Pikiner and veteran Dmitry ‘hooch\u00e2\u0081\u00a0‘ <\/strong>Bogdanov. Their behind-the-scenes work has been instrumental in shaping the new roster.<\/p>\n

‘HeavyGod’ <\/strong>recently joined the team from OG<\/strong>, where he has been a part of the lineup since the beginning of the year. His standout performance includes an impressive 1.12 rating<\/strong> over 39 maps <\/strong>played against the top 30<\/strong> opposition.<\/p>\n

Kazakh AWPer ‘ICY’ <\/strong>has been turning heads as a rising star from the region. He last played for AMKAL <\/strong>and qualified for the PGL Major Copenhagen<\/strong>, his first big LAN appearance. In CS2<\/strong>, the 19-year-old averages a 1.17 rating<\/strong> (1.13<\/strong> over 37 maps<\/strong> against the top 30 <\/strong>teams).<\/p>\n

‘interz’ <\/strong>has returned to Cloud9 <\/strong>after first joining in 2022. He initially left in early 2023 for the arrival of ‘buster’<\/strong>. Now, he has a second chance with a team that includes only one of his former teammates, ‘Ax1Le’<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Cloud9’s <\/strong>new lineup is set to make its debut in the BLAST Premier Fall Groups<\/strong>, which will run from July 29<\/strong> to August 4<\/strong> in Copenhagen.<\/p>\n
