On Friday, the Dutch organization Liquid <\/strong>announced the completion of the signing of Roland ‘ultimate\u00e2\u0081\u00a0‘ <\/strong>Tomkowiak, the former Illuminar AWPer. This signing leaves only one vacancy in the squad to be filled.<\/p>\n

‘ultimate’ <\/strong>debuted in the Polish scene with AGO <\/strong>in early 2022 and attended ESL Pro League Season 15<\/strong> as his first major event. Initially struggling, he has since improved his performance in CS2<\/strong>, maintaining a 1.16 rating<\/strong>, although most of his matches have been against lower-level opponents, and he’s yet to face a top 20 team in CS2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Liquid <\/strong>has made some significant changes in their team during the off-season. ‘ultimate’ <\/strong>will now be responsible for handling the AWPing duties, taking over from Casper ‘cadiaN’ <\/strong>M\u00c3\u00b8ller, who has been benched. Alongside this change, Felipe ‘skullz’ <\/strong>Medeiros has been transferred to FURIA<\/strong>, and head coach Wilton ‘zews’<\/strong>Prado has been relieved of his coaching duties.<\/p>\n

The team has appointed Torbj\u00c3\u00b8rn ‘mithR’ <\/strong>Nyborg as their new coach. The decision was influenced by his proven ability to develop in-game leaders, indicating that the captaincy is likely to be given to Russel ‘Twistzz’ <\/strong>Van Dulken.<\/p>\n
