OG <\/strong>has officially added Thomas ‘Thomas’ <\/strong>Utting to their roster for the upcoming BLAST Premier Fall Groups<\/strong>. The decision comes after Nikita ‘HeavyGod’ <\/strong>Martynenko’s departure from the team, as he moves to Cloud9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

‘Thomas’ <\/strong>will assume the role of in-game leader, taking over from Nils ‘k1to’ <\/strong>Gruhne, who had previously taken on the team’s captaincy earlier in the year following Nemanja ‘nexa’ <\/strong>Isakovi\u00c4\u0087’s move to G2<\/strong>. In addition, ‘k1to’ <\/strong>will be stepping into ‘HeavyGod’s <\/strong>position within the team’s structure.<\/p>\n

‘Thomas’ <\/strong>is set to take on the role of an in-game leader for the third time, having previously led Into the Breach <\/strong>and 5W<\/strong>. His tenure with the latter team ended abruptly as the players independently severed connections with the Indian organization, alleging its involvement in a scam.<\/p>\n

The new British player is leading a team that had a disappointing season. Their only highlight was finishing second in the Skyesports Masters<\/strong>. To make things worse, their best player, ‘HeavyGod’<\/strong>, with an average rating of 1.16 during<\/strong> his time on OG<\/strong>, has left the team.<\/p>\n

The BLAST Premier Fall Groups<\/strong> are scheduled in Copenhagen<\/strong> from July 29 to August 4<\/strong>. Six teams will compete to secure a spot in the Fall Final during this event.<\/p>\n
