The event is set to take place in <strong>Mumbai, India <\/strong>from <strong>July 23rd<\/strong> to <strong>July 28th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The four additional teams will join the eight pre-invited teams, creating two groups of six for a round-robin tournament. The top three teams from each group will advance to the single-elimination playoffs. This brings the total number of teams to <strong>12<\/strong>. Additionally, the prize pool has been raised by <strong>$100,000<\/strong> to a total of <strong>$300,000 <\/strong>to accommodate the increased number of participants.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skyesports <\/strong>has tried hosting big international LAN events, and the tournament organizer hopes for a smoother experience this time. Previous events, like <strong>Skyesports Masters 2024<\/strong>, had to be moved online at the last minute due to disruptions.<\/p>\n<p>The South Asian tournament organizer indefinitely postponed the <strong>Skyesports Championship 5.0<\/strong> in November 2023 due to &#8220;foreign political conditions and a little bit of bad luck&#8221;. Additionally, they moved the <strong>Skyesports Souvenir tournament <\/strong>online after initially announcing it as a LAN event in Colombo, Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n<p>Five of the top 30 teams have already confirmed their participation in the upcoming event. The list of confirmed teams includes <strong>The MongolZ<\/strong>, <strong>Eternal Fire<\/strong>, and <strong>FURIA<\/strong>.
