Multiple sources who spoke to HLTV said Talon has shown interest in rejoining CS2 <\/strong>with an Oceanic lineup led by former Renegades <\/strong>and 100 Thieves <\/strong>member Aaron ‘AZR’<\/strong> Ward.<\/p>\n

Talon<\/strong> is primarily known for its teams in League of Legends<\/strong>, Dota 2<\/strong>, and Valorant<\/strong>. However, it has not been active in the Counter-Strike<\/strong> scene since 2018. Its previous squad, composed entirely of Taiwanese players, participated in the eXTREMESLAND 2017 Asia Finals<\/strong> in Shanghai, where it secured the 13th-15th<\/strong> position.<\/p>\n

For the potential return to the game, Talon <\/strong>is relying on a veteran captain. ‘AZR’ <\/strong>has been inactive since April 2023, when Sprout <\/strong>released him after less than two months on the team.<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old is looking to revive his career. He has competed in six Majors, his most recent appearance being the StarLadder Berlin Major<\/strong> in 2019, where he led Renegades<\/strong> to the semi-finals.<\/p>\n

According to sources, Corey ‘nettik’ <\/strong>Browne, Jared ‘hazr’ <\/strong>O’Bree, and Christian ‘ADDICT’<\/strong> Pendleton are being considered for the team. Talon <\/strong>is also looking at European players like ENCE’s <\/strong>benched sniper Olek ‘hades’<\/strong> Miskiewicz and Nemiga’s <\/strong>Beksultan ‘khaN’ <\/strong>Ospan for the AWP role.<\/p>\n

There are reports that Talon <\/strong>has been in talks with Daniel ‘djL’ <\/strong>Narancic for the head coach position. Narancic, a Swede, has been without a job since February when Ninjas in Pyjamas<\/strong> relieved him of his duties. Afterward, Richard ‘Xizt’ <\/strong>Landstr\u00c3\u00b6m was appointedas the new head coach.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
