Liquid <\/strong>has just announced that Wilton ‘zews<\/strong>‘ Prado will be stepping down from his role as head coach with immediate effect.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian tactician is Liquid’s <\/strong>second departure following the benching of Casper ‘cadiaN\u00e2\u0081\u00a0‘ <\/strong>M\u00c3\u00b8ller earlier in the month. This news comes after lackluster results since Liquid’s<\/strong>winter rebuild when they also added Russel ‘Twistzz\u00e2\u0081\u00a0‘ <\/strong>Van Dulken and Felipe ‘skullz\u00e2\u0081\u00a0‘ <\/strong>Medeiros.<\/p>\n

‘Zews’ <\/strong>joined Liquid in December with ‘Twistzz’ <\/strong>and ‘skullz’<\/strong>, but the team failed to meet expectations by not breaking into the top ten world rankings during their time together.<\/p>\n

Liquid <\/strong>started the season by missing out on a Major spot and struggled for consistency. They made the playoffs at IEM Chengdu<\/strong> and EPL S19<\/strong> but reportedly had a negative team atmosphere.<\/p>\n

There have been reports about the organization intending to remove ‘cadiaN’ <\/strong>before IEM Dallas<\/strong>. The Danish in-game leader was the first to be removed, and shortly after, ‘zews’ <\/strong>also left the team. It is anticipated that ‘skullz’ <\/strong>will depart the team soon, with reports indicating that he may join FURIA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
