The first day of the\u00a0BLAST Premier Showdown<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0will bring us three interesting matches with six teams. Will\u00a0Liquid\u00a0<\/strong>finally show us its natural strength, or will\u00a0SAW\u00a0<\/strong>continue succeeding after qualifying for\u00a0PGL Major<\/strong>? Can Complexity<\/strong> finally find some consistency, or will it be another tournament to get them experience? Can\u00a0OG\u00a0<\/strong>hype themselves up enough to continue playing after losing qualifiers and showing results without roster changes after failing\u00a0PGL Major<\/strong>\u00a0qualifiers? What is the new\u00a0Monte\u00a0<\/strong>team roster capable of? Can they stand against teams from Brazil, such as\u00a0Imperial<\/strong>, who have yet to get their experience against world-level teams? We must see all that on\u00a0BLAST Day 2<\/strong>; don’\u0099t miss the action!<\/p>\n

    Liquid vs. SAW<\/h2>\n

    Liquid\u00a0<\/strong>didn’\u0099t qualify for\u00a0PGL Major<\/strong>, and now, for that reason, this tournament might become much more critical for them since it’\u0099s their chance to get a spot at another tournament and have something big to play shortly. Other than their run at\u00a0PGL\u00a0<\/strong>qualifiers, they didn’\u0099t show good results previously, either. They still can’\u0099t find their ground with their new roster and in-game leader.<\/p>\n

    On the other side,\u00a0SAW\u00a0<\/strong>played their EU\u00a0PGL Major<\/strong>\u00a0qualifier and managed to qualify as the underdogs to do so. So we can say they’\u0099re in good form right now and might be ready to surprise us even more if they keep their win streak at this tournament.<\/p>\n

    The match will be interesting. That’\u0099s one thing we know for sure. It’\u0099s experienced players and a team who haven’\u0099t found their ground yet against a much younger and less experienced team that seems to be successfully building its way to the top. And based on everything and odds being more than\u00a02.1<\/strong>\u00a0for the\u00a0SAW\u00a0<\/strong>side on every possible bookmaker out there, we would say that\u00a0SAW\u00a0<\/strong>to win this match seems like a valuable choice here.<\/p>\n

    Complexity vs. OG<\/h2>\n

    Complexity\u00a0<\/strong>successfully qualified for\u00a0PGL Major<\/strong>, which shows that they’\u0099re in good shape and ready to fight. Other than that, they didn’\u0099t have that much success previously when they played different tournaments with EU- and CIS-based teams. This tournament is another chance for them to show what they’\u0099re capable of against teams from other parts of the world.<\/p>\n

    OG\u00a0<\/strong>is still having difficulties, and it’\u0099s already been a long, hard time for them. They didn’\u0099t qualify for the\u00a0PGL Major<\/strong>\u00a0or show no success at other tournaments, either. It’\u0099s hard to tell what they’\u0099re missing to find some success, but we can only hope they can do it at some point.<\/p>\n

    With everything said above and based on the team shape, we would say that\u00a0Complexity\u00a0<\/strong>should win this match since they got their motivation and taste of winning from\u00a0the PGL Major\u00a0<\/strong>qualifiers. It would be good for them to keep that way and get even better and more experienced as a team before\u00a0PGL Major<\/strong>\u00a0kicks in.<\/p>\n

    Monte vs. Imperial<\/h2>\n

    There’\u0099s not much to say about\u00a0Monte\u00a0<\/strong>here. After losing\u00a0PGL Major<\/strong>\u00a0qualifiers and being in bad shape even before that, they decided to change their roster, and it’\u0099s yet to be determined what their roster will be in the future. At this tournament, they will play with two temporary stand-ins.<\/p>\n

    Imperial\u00a0<\/strong>won their spot at\u00a0PGL Major<\/strong>\u00a0through the qualifiers, and now it’\u0099s time to show themselves against world teams and maybe even try to get one more spot at another big tournament to play in the future.<\/p>\n

    Since\u00a0Monte\u00a0<\/strong>hasn’\u0099t even completed a new roster yet, it’\u0099s a massive advantage for\u00a0Imperial<\/strong>, who have to be in a good mood since they got themselves a spot at the biggest tournament coming soon. Based on this, we would say that\u00a0Imperial\u00a0<\/strong>has a better chance of winning this match.<\/p>\n
