The Norwegian esports organization Apeks has decided to part ways with their assistant coach P\u00c3\u00a5l “Polly” Kammen after June 30, which is when his contract would also expire.<\/p>\n
“We have made the difficult decision to not extend P\u00c3\u00a5l “Polly” Kammen’s professional contract, when it expires on June 30th. P\u00c3\u00a5l has been with us from the very beginning, making this decision all the more challenging. Unfortunately, we have not performed as well as we expected, despite the resources allocated to our CS:GO main team. Ultimately, results are what matter most,” noted Apeks’\u0099 statement<\/em>.<\/p>\n The organization will include Torbj\u00c3\u00b8rn “mithR” Nyborg from Rebels, Apeks academy team, to the coaching staff of the main roster.<\/p>\n Polly is moving to analytical work and other Apeks’ projects from this time.<\/p>\n “We also want to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to ‘\u009cPolly’\u009d for his four years at Apeks, both as a player and coach. His contributions have left an indelible mark on our organization. Among our many successes during his tenure were qualifying for the RMR, winning the Tipsport Cup Bratislava, and achieving multiple triumphs in the Norwegian league, Telialigaen, before we went international with our lineup. P\u00c3\u00a5l ‘\u009cPolly’\u009d Kammen will always be a cherished member of our Apeks family,” Apeks noted.<\/em><\/p>\n Polly has been a part of Apeks since 2019. He was a player, coach and since August last year he has been the assistant coach after rebuilding the team<\/a>.<\/p>\n The August lineup didn’\u0099t live up to expectations. In September 2022, Apeks’ management withdrew the roster<\/a> from all competitions due to unsatisfactory results. After that, Richard “shox” Papillon decided to leave the team<\/a>.
