Match Overview
The second semi-final match of BLAST World Final 2024 will be the Danish team Astralis, which will face off against the CIS-based team Spirit. Astralis seem to be going hot at this tournament, while Spirit are trying their best to prove that they can beat anyone. These two teams met before at BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024, and even though Spirit lost the first map in the series, they could make a comeback and win with a 2-1 score. The question is if Astralis are prepared enough to take down Spirit this time and get their revenge.

Current Team and Players Form
Astralis
They seem well prepared for this tournament, and it pays off so far. First, in their opening match, they took down the best team in the world, Natus Vincere, with a confident 2-0 score, and then they met MOUZ and won with a 2-0 score as well. They didn’t lose a single map coming into this stage. ‘Jabbi’ seems to be in great shape, and their star player ‘dev1ce’ is also leading the scoreboards. Then they have ‘stavn’ and ‘Staehr’, and both of these guys can make their own show for any game on their good day.
Spirit
This team form was questionable before this tournament, and it still is. They started with a confident win over Vitality with a 2-0 score and then lost against G2 with a 0-2 score, and it was hard to tell how well they were prepared for this tournament overall. In their quarter-final match against FaZe, which they won with a 2-0 score, they did show great teamwork. One thing is certain: ‘sh1ro’, ‘d0nk’, and ‘zont1x’. All three are in great shape right now and ready to fight against any team.
It seems like Spirit is not planning to leave without a trophy
Match Prediction
In this match, it’s especially hard to predict a winner, but considering both teams’ map pools have enough weaknesses against each other, it seems to be a good choice to predict something around it. We expect this match to be a Total of over 2.5 Maps played; in other words, this series will have all three maps played.
Can Astralis, being this well prepared for a tournament, take their revenge on Spirit for previous BLAST experience, or will it be Spirit and ‘d0nk’ who will show Astralis the real game? We will have to see it this Saturday at 12:30 CET!
