Match Overview
The first quarter-final of ESL Pro League Season 21 will be Eternal Fire to face off against the best team in the world, Spirit. For the past few months, the only two teams that could stop Spirit are Natus Vincere and Vitality. Eternal Fire and Spirit met each other before at BLAST Bounty Finals, and in a best-of-five series, Spirit won with a 3-1 score; despite losing the first map, they crushed them on the following three maps.

Eternal Fire
They play one tournament after another, and they don’t miss any, and it doesn’t seem to do good for them as they seem to lose some surprise moments against top teams as they all know how they play. The only good part is that the players are in good shape and ‘woxic’ crushed Falcons for a spot at the playoff stage together with ‘Wicadia’. ‘XANTARES’ is their star player, and they will need him in the playoff stage to do his job. ‘jottAAA’ seems to get more experienced and consistent with his game.
Spirit
They didn’t lose a single map on their way to the playoff stage, and it was expected from them, as they’re the best team in the world at present. Their star player ‘donk’ was the best player by the scoreboards in every march they played. ‘donk’ being able to keep that level consistently is already a bad sign for their opponents. ‘sh1ro’ was also the second on the scoreboards in every match. He is in great form. ‘zont1x’ is just being consistently good, ‘chopper’ and ‘magixx’ are also in good shape to support their team.
XANTARES is ready to give his best

As Eternal Fire doesn’t seem to be consistent and Spirit is clearly a more consistent here both as a team and their players, together with the past results between these two it makes Spirit the clear favorite here. We expect Spirit to win this match.
Can Eternal Fire surprise and take their revenge on Spirit, or will it be Spirit to dominate over them once again? We will have to see it this Thursday at 15:45 CET!
