Falcons will face off against MOUZ in a quarter-final of the Esports World Cup 2025, and the losing team will have to go home, as it is a single-elimination playoff bracket. Falcons here to prove that the addition of ‘kyousuke’ was the right choice for them, while MOUZ is one of this tournament’s favorites. These two teams last met at IEM Dallas 2025, and MOUZ won with a score of 2-0.

Current Team and Players Form
Falcons
In their opening match against G2, they showed us that everyone was in good form, and every player made their own impact to win the match and make it to the quarter-final. ‘NiKo’ and ‘m0NESY’ were the two stars leading the scoreboards, and right behind them, it was ‘TeSeS’ and ‘Kyousuke’ with only a few kills difference. They’re in good form, but we will have to see how they perform against the best teams with their updated roster.
MOUZ
Their opening match wasn’t as clean as it was expected to be against Virtus.pro. ‘torszi’ wasn’t looking as consistent as before, and this time it was ‘Spinx’ carrying the team on his back who ended up a match having a 51 kill to his name and a rating of 1.18. They couldn’t make it into the grand final at the recent tournament as they lost the semi-final match against Spirit, and the same happened in the grand final of IEM Cologne, where they also lost against Spirit without winning a single map in a best-of-five match. They’re in good shape, but something is missing to make them the best.

Match Prediction
Even though MOUZ is the better team and has proven itself over a longer distance, we think that Falcons have a good chance here on their organization’s home soil to show their best and take revenge. We expect Falcons to win this match.
Can Falcons send MOUZ home and steal another chance to win a tournament from them, or will it be MOUZ to keep their ground as the third-best team in the world? We will have to see it this Friday at 19:45 CET!
