They nearly defeated the world’s best team in the group stage, pushing Vitality to a close 3-map series. ‘frozen’ and ‘broky’ had some outstanding performances that match, and both of them ended up having more kills than any of Vitality’s players, even though they lost the match. This shows that these two players are in a very good form. ‘karrigan’, on the other side, even though he is in-game leader and has a different thing to do, had 26 kills in total across three maps, and at this point, his form is what stopped them from winning against Vitality. They’ve played a good game and are in good form, but ‘karrigan’ needs to improve his fragging output if they want to make it further.
G2 – HeavyGod Shines, huNter- Leads
After being an underdog in an elimination match against Spirit and losing the first map, nobody believed that this team would make it to the playoff stage, but they managed to come back and win with a score of 2-1 against all the odds. Also, on the decider map, Ancient, G2 won with a score of 13-1, completely demolishing Spirit and showing their preparation for this tournament. ‘HeavyGod’ was the leading fragging power behind the G2 success, and ‘malbsMd’ is the second-best player. ‘huNter-‘ seems to be doing great as in-game leader, but we are yet to see how it goes on the longer distance. They’re in great form and should be extra motivated after such a remarkable win against one of the best teams in the world.

FaZe vs G2 – Quarter-final Prediction
The map pool of both teams is similar, so there’s no advantage for either. Considering both teams’ performances, we think there’s a slight advantage on the G2 side. ‘Frozen’ and ‘Broky’ can’t carry their team so hard all the time, and G2 relies more on a whole team performance rather than star players. We expect G2 to win this match.
Can G2 take the revenge for IEM Katowice 2025 and take down FaZe here, or will it be FaZe and karrigan to strike back and make it up for his performance earlier? We will have to see it this Friday at 18:30 CET!
