The third quarter-final of Shanghai Major will pit G2 against HEROIC. G2 made it to the playoffs with a 3-1 score in the Elimination Stage, and HEROIC made it with a 3-2 score. These two teams met before at IEM Rio 2024, and HEROIC won with a score of 13-10. This time, G2 seems to be a better team on paper, but we will see if HEROIC is here to take their revenge and continue fighting for the trophy.

As of now it seems like every player of G2 is well prepared individually and they play as a team better than before. ‘m0NESY’ and ‘NiKo’ are in a good shape also and both of them are known to be a key players for G2.

HEROIC

They didn’t make it easy to make it to the Playoff Stage. In their elimination match, they had to play against the best team in the world, Natus Vincere, but it didn’t stop them, and they won with a score of 2-1, showing everyone that in this tournament, they would be a problem to play against for any team on their way. ‘NertZ’ was showing some insane level in their match against Natus Vincere, and this guy can carry on a good day. Their sniper ‘degster’ was often together with ‘NertZ’ as the leader of the scoreboard for his team.

Match Prediction

It is not easy to predict a match with these two teams playing and to say who will win. But if we look at both team’s map pool, it seems like it has a good chance to go all three maps, and that will be our choice to bet here.
