Match Overview
The first semi-final of BLAST.tv Austin Major will be the best team in the world. Vitality will face off against MOUZ, the second-best team by the rating. Vitality won five tournaments in a row and is looking for another trophy here. This tournament is much bigger than anything before. These two teams met each other six times this year, and MOUZ couldn’t win a single series. They managed to win only three maps out of the eighteen games they played against Vitality. They will have to surprise Vitality this time if they want to win.

Current Team and Players Form
MOUZ
After the shaky Stage 3 results and the break time between the Playoff Stage, they had to get back into shape, and it seems like they did. In their quarter-final match against Spirit, they looked like a different team who won’t give up. ‘Spinx’, with an outstanding performance, was leading his team by the frags, and ‘xertioN’, ‘Jimpphat’, and ‘torszi’ had the same scores and were showing that they were in good form. ‘Brollan’ was the only player with a poor performance fragging-wise, but he is an in-game leader and played his role well.
Vitality
They keep proving that Legacy breaking their 30-match win streak at the start of the tournament wasn’t that big for them as they didn’t lose a single time since then. In their quarter-final match against Natus Vincere, it was a clear showing that they’re still the best team in the world, ‘ZywOo’ was dominating over their opponents, and ‘mezii’, who was playing a support role was a second-best fragger which shows him being in incredible form as well. ‘ropz’ is known for his consistency. Once again, he did everything for his team to win. For ‘flameZ’, it was his first match at this tournament where he had a negative score at the end, which is rare to see from him, but it was enough to win, and it’s what matters the most.

Match Prediction
As these two teams met so many times this year and Vitality is so much ahead, it is hard to expect MOUZ to surprise Vitality this time, especially considering MOUZ’s performance at the start of this tournament. Vitality is the clear favorite in this match. We expect Vitality to win this match.
Can MOUZ take their revenge after so many losses against Vitality throughout the year, or will it be Vitality to keep dominating over their opponents and get themselves another Grand Final? We will have to see it this Saturday at 20:00 CET!
