Match Overview
Natus Vincere and Astralis made it to the quarter-finals of the PGL Astana 2025, and now they will have to fight for the semi-final spot. Both team names are known for the whole world for both their past and present success and if Natus Vincere were one of the best teams in the world in 2024, Astralis era was back in 2019 and they’re yet to find a way to become a top team again after all the roster shuffles they’ve made. These two teams met each other at BLAST Bounty 2025 in January, and Natus Vincere won with a score of 2-0.

Current Team and Players Form
Natus Vincere
They’ve been in some slump recently and have yet to prove they’re back to the top. Still, even when they weren’t at their best, they didn’t lose to any lower-tier teams. They are the ones to look for when it comes to a big tournament. ‘b1t’ seems to be in a good form but to make it further into the playoff stage they will need both ‘w0nderful’ and ‘jL’ to be back in shape. ‘iM’ doesn’t seem at his best but he is consistent enough which is good. ‘Aleksib’ was one of the least fragging in-game leaders at some point, but now he seems to be getting better at it and impacting the game.
Astralis
Their recent change of in-game leader from ‘cadiaN’ to ‘HooXi’ has already shown some success at this tournament, as they managed to beat VP for the first time in 11 months. ‘device’ and ‘stain’ were the key players in their match against VP, leading the scoreboards and their team to win. Both of them are Astralis star players, so having them in such good shape might already be good enough to give a fight to anyone.
HooXi seems to be happy with his new team
Match Prediction
Since Astralis is playing their first tournament with the new in-game leader, Natus Vincere will have the advantage in this match. Overall, we would say it is 65-35 in favor of Natus Vincere. We expect Natus Vincere to win this match.
Can Astralis start their success way here with the new leader, or will it be Natus Vincere to repeat the result from BLAST? We will have to see it this Friday at 10:00 CET!
