Danish esports organization Astralis has decided to move Alexander “Altekz” Givskov from Astralis Talent to the main CS:GO roster, the organization announced on Twitter.
19-year-old Altekz started his carrier in 2020 in Lucendi Esports and came to Astralis Talent from MASONIC in 2021.
The team’s management has not clarified who will room place for Altekz or if he will be a sixth player, although they noted that Andreas “kiR” Kirstein has been invited to substitute Altekz in the Academy roster.
22-year-old kiR, as well as Altekz, has been playing with MASONIC too. But his tenure with this organization was extremely short. He was on trial from January to March this year and left them in April.
The Danes failed to qualify for the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 as they bombed out of European RMR B, finishing 12th-14th, so the team is likely to face rebuilding.
