Curious to learn what’s going to happen at the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 Qualifiers? Here's everything you need to know.

There will be tons of Dota 2 tournaments to watch in 2024, but the first big one starts in early February. BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 will be an event that will include all of the leading squads from all regions. Needless to say, this makes it a must-watch.

We already know the names of the teams that received a direct invitation. But it doesn't end there; there will also be qualifiers. They are divided into the following regions: WEU, EEU, CN + SEA, NA + SA and MENA.

Each region has a lot of interesting teams and players to keep an eye on, but some are more intriguing than others. So, let’s take a look at all of them and learn more about the teams expected to qualify.

    NA + SA

Arguably the least interesting region to watch in Dota 2, the Americas have a few big names that deserve more attention. The teams that will play at the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 Qualifiers include the following names:

    • BOOM Esports
    • Heroic
    • Nouns
    • Los Magicards
    • Mad Kings
    • DuBu
    • Bulls
    • Shopify Rebellion

While it is true that BOOM Esports and Heroic look good on paper, we believe the battle here will be between Shopify Rebellion and Nouns. SR looks dangerous after the roster changes, and the same applies to Nouns. The latter has always been the “other” team in the region, but the most recent changes definitely made them more of a threat than ever.

    CN + SEA

It is safe to say that these two Dota 2 regions deserved to have separate BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 Qualifiers. However, the organizers decided to combine them into one, meaning that we have pretty big names to look out for:

    • Azure Ray
    • Geek Fam
    • Titan
    • Talon Esports
    • G2.iG
    • Team Aster
    • IHC Esports
    • Blacklist International

If we remove the few underdogs, we can see that there are four teams here that will compete for a single spot. That’s right, every region will only have one qualifying slot, so the battle will be fierce.

Analyzing the teams, we can see that Azure Ray is the favorite, especially after the team’s most recent victory at ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. Azure Ray have already reached the Upper Bracket Final, so we expect them to win and make it to Dubai.

    MENA

MENA is probably among the most intriguing regions, especially after Nigma announced their new roster, which consists of some of the best Dota 2 players in the world.

We are currently aware of four attending squads, and it seems like the battle will be between them. Nigma Galaxy, PSG.Quest and Team Falcons are the three squads that will try to do everything they can to secure that one spot. Nigma is probably the big favorite, considering the roster changes, but in reality, the slot may go in favor of Team Falcons.

In case you’ve forgotten, this was the team that won the Pinnacle: 25th Anniversary Show, so it already has some experience. That said, the squad is still new, so we do not know whether it will be able to survive when playing against some of the best.

    Western Europe

Unsurprisingly, Western Europe is a strong region. The best teams in the world in the last couple of years have come from Europe, which is why the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 Qualifiers will be incredibly fun to watch. At the time of writing, WEU has the following names:

    • OG
    • Tundra Esports
    • Entity
    • Team Tickles
    • KZ Team
    • Ninja Penguins
    • Team wkwkwk
    • Team Secret

Team Secret, OG, Entity and Tundra are the four teams that will have to fight for one slot. All of them have equal chances of winning it because they’ve made many changes lately. With that said, we believe that OG and Entity will probably be the two names that have the biggest chances of winning.

Tundra Esports is also interesting because they have an amazing roster with Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov and Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen. The two TI winners will try to boost Tundra’s results for 2024, but we have yet to see if they can go toe to toe with the new and ambitious players.

    Eastern Europe

Eastern Europe is the last region with another representative at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024. Although the top-tier squads already got an invitation, two other big names deserve attention. With that said, here are the names that will be a part of it:

    • SIBE Team
    • Yellow Submarine
    • NextUp
    • One Move
    • L1ga Team
    • Chimera
    • Virtus.Pro
    • Klm Sani4

We believe that L1ga Team and Virtus.Pro will be the two squads that will outperform the rest. Most people will probably want VP to get the last slot, but considering L1ga Team’s roster, we don’t think this is possible. Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev should be the difference-maker and will do everything in his power to qualify for the first big tournament of the year.
