Everyone knows that Sebastien “Ceb” Debs is one of the most popular Dota 2 players in the world. The International winner is OG’s living legend, but he decided it’s time for a change. Consequently, he moved to Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and will become the Technical Director for Selangor Red Giants OG.
Ceb is now a Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
Following a post from OG, it became clear that Ceb is no longer part of Dota 2. The player said that he will be moving to Malaysia and will work alongside SRG.OG. An interesting fact is that the latter has a strategic global partnership with OG. The deal between the two began in 2024, and SRG has already won the MLBB Professional League Malaysia Season 13 and 14, including the Mid-Season Cup.
In other words, this team is doing an excellent job in the local MLBB scene and will continue to dominate in the future. In fact, they had a flawless run in the MPL Malaysia Season 14 Regular Season.
That said, Ceb won’t be an active player for the new Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team. Instead, he will have a managing role that will focus on improving the team’s results. He will be joining the team as it prepares for the upcoming Playoffs of the MPL Malaysia Season 15 Regular Season.
Unless the team makes big mistakes, it will also represent the country at the MSC. The latter will be a part of the Esports World Cup 2025, which will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Ceb and Dota 2
Speaking of managing, Ceb was in a similar position in Dota 2. He was a key part of OG’s roster before, but he decided to step down from active play and focus on other aspects.
Speaking of OG, the organization recently added OG.LATAM to its roster. Another interesting fact about the organization is that Johan “N0tail” Sundstein is now back to competitive play and will coach OG’s EU squad.
