Multigame esports organization Counter Logic Gaming is close to shutting down. Many of its employees have bid farewell to the organization amid rumors of its dissolution. Meanwhile, the League of Legends roster has already been acquired by NRG.
Rumors that CLG are living their last days have recently appeared in the media. After that, Kim officially said goodbye to the organization, who had headed it since July 2021.
Then goodbyes poured in from other employees. Mounira “GooseBreeder” Dobie, the In-Game Leader of the women’s CS:GO roster, reported that many employees have left the organization and that her entire team are now free agents.
It seems that the end of the organization is near and we are only awaiting the final announcement.
In addition, NRG CEO Andy Miller already announced that his organization is returning to the League of Legends scene. To do this, they acquired the CLG squad.
Counter Logic Gaming was originally founded in 2010 by George ‘HotshotGG’ Georgallidis. In 2017, CLG partnered with the Madison Square Garden Company.
