Andrey ‘Xoma’ Mironenko has joined Aurora after parting ways with Virtus.pro following a brief three-month tenure, during which he participated in five events (excluding the Spring Final, which he missed) and competed in 33 maps.
At Aurora, he becomes part of the backroom staff under the leadership of Stepan ‘brain’ Sivoronov. His role will be that of an assistant coach as the team prepares for their participation in the European RMR event in Shanghai.
The individual has previously held the position of analyst in various teams such as Gambit Youngsters, Winstrike, and Entropiq within the realm of CS. However, it is undeniable that this represents a regression considering that ‘Xoma’ had recently been associated with a top-ten team for several months.
Denis ‘deko’ Zhukov and his team from Aurora managed to qualify for the RMR tournament, even after experiencing a major setback. They had to compete in the qualifier without their star rifler, Evgeny ‘r3salt’ Frolov, who was unexpectedly recruited by 9 Pandas, Xoma’s former team, just a few hours before the start of the qualifier.
In the recent deal, Timur ‘claxâ ‘ Sabirov was involved in a swap deal, transitioning to another team. He had previously showcased impressive skills during his 15-month tenure under Xoma’s guidance with the Pandas.
