BLAST.tv Austin Major Stage 3 kicks off tomorrow. As Stage 1 and Stage 2 came to an end, we have the complete list of participants who will have to fight for the playoff stage now to prove that they’re the best team in the world.
Vitality’s win in this tournament would undoubtedly make them the best team of the year. Although they have already won five tournaments in a row, this one will be the most important as it is a major-level tournament.
Here, you will find a main stage format, teams list, Blix.gg team opinion on favorites and underdogs of this stage, and everything else you need to know.

Favorites and Underdogs
Vitality, with its five tournament wins in a row and 30-match win streak remains the main favorite to win this championship and take another title.
Other than them, it was Falcons, MOUZ, and Spirit who we called favorites before. However, Falcons couldn’t even make it through stage 2, so there are only two teams left who were as close as possible to beating Vitality throughout their win streak.
Teams like Liquid, Virtus.pro, G2, FaZe with the recent addition of ‘s1mple’, who barely made it through Stage 2, and Natus Vincere – all of them have enough experience from the past playing against the best teams and being the best team at some point, but they’re yet to prove that they’re still belong to that level, as recently they didn’t have that much of a success.
Dark horses—there are two such teams, TheMongolZ and Aurora, that have had success against the best teams and could beat anyone on a good day.
The main underdogs of this stage are Lynn Vision, Nemiga, 3DMAX, paiN, Legacy, and FURIA who made it through Stage 2, but they didn’t have to fight elite-level world teams there and they’re yet to prove themselves against the best.
