From OG Bench to HEROIC Captain

Christoffer “Chr1zN” Storgaard spent 2024–2025 at OG, but was benched in October 2025 after the arrival of veteran In-Game Leader/AWPer cadiaN. With OG failing to qualify for the Budapest Major, the decision paved the way for Chr1zN to seek new opportunities – and HEROIC stepped in.
Reunion With TOBIZ – Back to the Fundamentals

A key aspect of this transfer: Chr1zN reunites with coach TOBIZ, who originally signed him at MOUZ NXT in 2022. Chr1zN described their relationship as vital for his development:
Now, after their time apart and further growth under OG’s coach Lambert, they will collaborate again to craft HEROIC’s new playbook.
Why This Move Matters for HEROIC

HEROIC’s results in 2025 have been a mixed bag. Although they captured the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring and advanced to Stage 2 of the Austin Major earlier in the year, the team failed to qualify for the StarLadder Budapest Major.
The decision to bench LNZ and bring in a youthful in-game leader like Chr1zN seems like a strategic reset: a gamble for long-term cohesion and growth. With Chr1zN’s familiarity with TOBIZ and potential as a rifling in-game leader, HEROIC appear to be aiming for a fresh identity – one built around youthful energy and tactical flexibility.
If the gamble pays off, this could mark the beginning of a new chapter for HEROIC. If not – well, the pressure will be on to deliver.
HEROIC roster is as follows:
- Christoffer “Chr1zN” Storgaard
- Linus “nilo” Bergman Sweden
- Simon “yxngstxr” Boije
- Yasin “xfl0ud” Koç
- Alimzhan “Alkaren” Bitimbay (loan)
- Tobias “TOBIZ” Theo (coach)
