The Nouns organization has officially announced that Christopher ‘cJ dA K1nG’ Jones has decided to leave the team. This departure leaves the roster startlingly thin, with only two players remaining on the starting lineup. The situation has become more pressing as this follows the recent exits of Carson ‘nosraC’ O’Reilly and Jeorge ‘Jeorge’ Endicott, further reducing the team’s active player base.
As of now, there have been no official announcements regarding player replacements. However, in a communication with Dust2.us late last month, the organization indicated that they plan to evaluate a number of North American players through trials. Recently, during the PrizePicks NA Revival Series held earlier this month, the team Nouns showcased a modified lineup featuring Jaxon ‘Peeping’ Cornwell and Nick ‘nicx’ Lee stepping into key roles.
’cJ dA K1nG’ is leaving after a long period as a member of the Nouns squad, having joined the team in November 2022. During his time with the team, he contributed to Nouns’ progression to the Americas RMRs for the BLAST.tv Paris Major, PGL Major Copenhagen, and Perfect World Shanghai Major, falling just one series short of qualifying for Paris.
He also secured several online championships with the team, such as a successful NA Revival Cup 2024 campaign where Nouns defeated both M80 and NRG, and lifted the Fragicago 2024 LAN trophy during his stint with the group.
