A Veteran Piece to Anchor a New Squad

Dev1ce brings a lot of experience to 100 Thieves’ rebuilt roster. A 9-time CS2 Top 20 player, four-time Major champion, and one of the best snipers in the history, he’s widely regarded as one of Counter-Strike’s most decorated players.
The signing reunites him with former Astralis teammate Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander, who now serves as the team’s head coach, a pairing that previously delivered multiple Major victories between 2017 and 2020.
Device’s veteran presence balances out 100 Thieves’ mostly young roster, which also features:
- Håvard “rain” Nygaard
- Alex “poiii” Nyholm Sundgren
- André “Ag1l” Gil
- William “sirah” Kjærsgaard
100 Thieves’ CS2 Vision

With the roster now complete, 100 Thieves is set to start from scratch in the Valve Regional Standings rankings. Rather than acquiring an already-ranked core, the organization opted to build a mix of youthful talent and seasoned veterans.
Dev1ce’s addition doesn’t just boost their firepower; it signals 100 Thieves’ wants to compete at the highest level from day one of CS2’s official competitive ecosystem.
What This Means for Device
For Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz, the move marks a new chapter after a second stint with Astralis, where he returned in 2022 following a period with Ninjas in Pyjamas. Reuniting with gla1ve and entering a fresh project in North America gives him a chance to chase further glory and stability in CS2.
