A Veteran Returns

felps had been inactive since April, when RED Canids benched him following their failure to qualify for the Austin Major. Since then, he briefly played in a mixed team called UnderDogs, but had not featured in any professional competition.
Known for his aggressive rifling and explosive entry style, felps previously represented some of Brazil’s biggest organizations, including SK Gaming, MIBR, and GODSENT. Now, with Gaimin Gladiators, he’ll have another opportunity to revive his career and re-establish himself as a key figure in the South American scene.
Gaimin Gladiators On the Rise

The move comes at a promising time for Gaimin Gladiators, who recently won the ESL Challenger League Season 50 South America Cup 3, securing a step closer to qualification for the ESL Pro League Season 23.
Currently ranked #65 in the HLTV global standings, the team has been showing steady improvement. The addition of felps gives them a veteran presence capable of elevating their tactical depth and consistency in high-stakes matches.
Felps will make his official debut with Gaimin Gladiators at the upcoming CCT Season 3 South America Series 6, where the team has received a direct invitation to the playoffs.
Gaimin Gladiators CS2 roster is as follows:
- João “felps” Vasconcellos
- Bruno “shz” Martinelli
- Gabriel “NEKIZ” Schenato
- Jhonatan “JOTA” Willian
- Lucas “bsd” Luan
What It Means for Felps and the Team
This move gives felps a second chance to prove his longevity in CS2 after years of ups and downs across different rosters. However, questions remain about his form after a long competitive pause. His experience could bring the Gladiators the consistency and experience that they need to transition from regional contenders to the international level.
Now the real question is how quickly felps adapts to the team system and how well he fits alongside young talents, which will determine if this roster move can deliver results.
New Chapter for Felps and Gaimin Gladiators
The signing of felps shows Gaimin Gladiators’ ambitions to rise through the South American ranks by investing in proven experience rather than solely relying on untested talent.
If the chemistry clicks, this could be the start of a promising new chapter both for the player and for an organization looking to cement its place among the region’s best.
