TYLOO, Liquid, and others are on the edge of being eliminated and going home, while FaZe, G2, TheMongolZ, and FURIA will have another chance to qualify for the playoff stage. FISSURE Playground 2 Day 5 Key Matches
G2 vs. GamerLegion
The winning team will go to the playoff stage, and the losing team will have one last chance to qualify. G2 is here as the BLAST London Champions and trying to prove they got their title for a reason. GamerLegion is the underdog of the tournament, and this match is the best chance for G2 to qualify and take their revenge for IEM Dallas 2025, where GamerLegion won with a score of 2-1. G2 is in great shape right now, and their star riflers, ‘HeavyGod‘ and ‘MATYS,’ can make a real difference in important matches.
FaZe vs. TheMongolZ
Same as in the previous match, it’s a 2-1 score match, and the winning team will take their spot at the playoff stage, while the losing team will go to an elimination match. FaZe is playing their last tournament before Twistzz coming back to the team, and they might not have enough motivation to give their all here. At the same time, TheMongolZ is hungry to prove again that they’re one of the best teams in the world, and their winning the Esports World Cup 2025 was not a coincidence but a clear showing that they’re the ones to be afraid of.
FURIA vs. paiN
The Brazilian derby is a 2-1 match, and both teams will have their last chance to qualify after that one, but only one of them will make it to the playoff stage today. FURIA is much more experienced as a team, and its individual skills are above those of its opponents. The same goes for both teams’ recent results. paiN will have to surprise to take this off FURIA’s hands; otherwise, FURIA is expected to crush them.
