Metizport has announced their latest lineup, adding Hampus ‘hampus’ Poser and Isak ‘isak’ Fahlén to the team while placing Casper ‘SHiNE’ Wennerberg on the bench. Both players have signed contracts that will last until the summer of 2026. These changes follow the recent exit of Linus ‘nilo’ Bergman from the organization.
As part of their announcement, Metizport disclosed that Nicolas ‘Plopski’ Gonzalez Zamora has signed an extension with the team, lasting until the summer of 2026.
‘hampus’ serves as the significant name for Metizport’s latest lineup. The 26-year-old in-game leader gained recognition by clinching victory at IEM Fall 2021 with Ninjas in Pyjamas and guiding the team to achieve a highest rank of No. 2 in the global standings.
The Swede left a struggling Ninjas in Pyjamas at the end of 2023 to join Aleksandar ‘kassad’ Trifunović’s BLEED in 2024. The team found success in Europe’s online scene, reaching deep in RES Regional Series events and finishing second at MESA Nomadic Masters Spring against top-50 teams.
BLEED did not reach the top 30 in the world rankings and notably did not qualify for either Major event in 2024. ‘hampus’ was loaned to Johnny Speeds in September 2024, assisting the team in securing several victories in lower-tier online competitions. Eventually, the entire BLEED roster severed connections with the organization in light of accusations regarding non-payment.
‘isak’ has now joined the team following a disappointing period with Ninjas in Pyjamas, where he recorded an average rating of 0.96 while the team faced challenges in making significant accomplishments.
