Rasmus ‘HooXi’ Nielsen, the former in-game leader of G2, has declared that he will become a free agent on January 1, 2025, and he is actively seeking a new team to join.
‘HooXi’ has remained inactive since July, when he was replaced on G2 by Polish in-game leader Janusz ‘Snax’ Pogorzelski.
HooXi Statement
The decision to bench him followed a period of underperformance for G2 during the year’s first half, aside from their victorious championship run at IEM Dallas, where they triumphed with Jake ‘Stewie2K’ Yip filling in for the Danish in-game leader.
HooXi’s most successful year was 2023, during which he guided G2 to triumphs at IEM Katowice and IEM Cologne following his initial Big Event win with the team at the BLAST World Final in late 2022.
