We are taking sails toward the land of liberty for the second Intel Extreme Masters event in Dallas for another shot of pure Counter-Strike after an exciting Major full of incredible storylines.
All the participating teams have failed in achieving their goals at the BLAST.tv Paris Major and will be seeking redemption including the heavy hitters such as Heroic, G2 Esports, ENCE and FaZe Clan. Though the last CS:GO Major is over, the race towards closing the chapter on top of the mountain continues.
IEM Dallas 2023 is hosted at the DreamHack gaming festival and will take place in the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center starting from May 29 till June 4. One weekend, two worlds and limitless fun and excitement.

A total of sixteen teams will battle in the event and while most of the teams are ESL partnered, others have made it through ESL Ranking and different regional qualifiers - European, North American, Oceanic and South American.

How to watch IEM Dallas 2023?
You can catch all the incredible moments and cheer for your favorite teams live on the ESL Twitch channel. The earlier stages of the tournament will also include a B stream, meaning two matches will be played at the same time.
In addition to the mainstream, several popular streamers including ohnepixel, fl0m, and Gaules will also be co-streaming the event on their Twitch channels, so you can enjoy both the games and live reactions from the streamers.
The first matches will start from 5:00PM CDT (12:00AM CET), so be sure to tune in for banger matches and if you miss anything, be sure to keep on checking this page as we’ll be updating the latest scores and results as soon as they come in.
Format, prize pool distribution
The tournament will follow two double-elimination format groups (GSL) with each group having eight teams. The opening matches will be played as BO1s, and all following matches will be played as BO3s.
The top three teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs and the Group Stage winners will advance straight to Semi-Finals while the runner-ups and third placed teams will qualify to the Quarter-finals as high and low seeds.
The Playoffs will be played in a single elimination bracket. The Quarter-finals and Semi-finals will be BO3s, with the event culminating in a BO5 Grand-final to decide who lifts the trophy.
The total prize pool is $250,000, with most of it going to the Champion in addition to a ticket to IEM Cologne 2023. The winnings are spread among the rest of the participants as seen below:
