Overview
IEM Dallas 2025 is an S-tier tournament with a prize pool of $1 million. The tournament will be held in Dallas, Texas, US from May 19 to May 25. There will be sixteen teams featured, among the participants are elite-level teams everyone knows, such as Vitality, Falcons, MOUZ. Teams like Spirit and Natus Vincere will miss this event as they just finished at the PGL Astana 2025 the day before. Will it be the fifth tournament win in a row for Vitality, or will someone finally stop them? We will have to see!
Tournament Format
Group Stage (May 19 – May 22)
- Two double-elimination format (GSL) Groups
- Each group has eight teams
- All matches are Bo3
- The top three teams from each group advance to the Playoffs:
- Group stage winners advance to the Semifinals
- Group stage runners-up advance to the Quarterfinals as the High Seeds
- Group stage 3rd place teams advance to the Quarterfinals as the Low Seeds
Playoff Stage (May 23 – May 25)
- Single-Elimination bracket
- The Quarterfinals & Semifinals are Bo3
- The Grand Final is Bo5

Favorites and Underdogs
Vitality is the main favorite to win this tournament, as they have done it four times in a row and nobody has been able to stop them before.
The Falcons have faced Vitality in the Grand Finals twice in a row, and even though they lost both times by a score of 2-3, it was a close one. Therefore, Falcons are one of the favorites for this tournament as well.
MOUZ usually gets into the playoff stages. They’re the best team after both Vitality and Falcons, and they’re clearly the favorite to make it to the playoff stage at the very least.
Liquid, FaZe, GamerLegion, TheMongolZ, Aurora, FURIA and HEROIC are all the dark horses of this tournament. Considering their recent results and their experience, on a good day, they might surprise any team they play against.
G2 was one of the top teams last year. Still, after all the roster shuffles they went through, they don’t seem like a title contender until they prove otherwise, so they will be playing as underdogs at this tournament, together with the rest of the teams: Legacy, 3DMAX, Lynn Vision, BC.Game, NRG.

- 3DMAX vs. Gamerlegion and Liquid vs. FaZe starting at 18:30 CET
- Vitality vs. Legacy and MOUZ vs. BC.Game starting at 21:00 CET
- G2 vs. Lynn Vision and Falcons vs. NRG starting at 23:30 CET
- TheMongolZ vs. FURIA and Aurora vs. HEROIC starting at 02:00 CET
The Grand Final is scheduled for May 25 at 21:00 CET!
