The IEM Krakow tournament will carry on the legacy of the IEM Katowice event. It will take place at the Spodek Arena, a key venue for Counter-Strike since 2014. It promises to be an exciting destination for gamers and fans.
Krakow is set to host one of ESL’s major gaming events at the Tauron Arena, which will welcome a bigger audience. This exciting championship will take place regularly in the future, thanks to a new multi-year agreement between the city and the event organizers. Another similar event will also be held in Cologne.
ESL Announcement
This event will celebrate the return of top-level CS2 gaming to Krakow, Poland, a historic city. In 2017, PGL organized a major tournament at the Tauron Arena there. Although PGL initially planned to return to Krakow in 2027, they had to change their plans because the venue is now booked for another event organized by ESL.
Fans in the area and those traveling to Krakow for the Pro Tour Championship will have the opportunity to see the trophy up close! You can check it out from May 30 to June 2 at Galeria Krakowska. Additionally, on June 8, the trophy will be on display at Kraków City Hall for an open day and stay at the city hall for two weeks afterward. Don’t miss your chance to see this exciting trophy!
IEM Krakow will feature 24 teams vying for a portion of the $1,200,000 prize pool and the opportunity to perform live in front of fans at the Tauron Arena during the six-team playoffs on February 6-8.
